Terms of service
The agreement between Sola and the businesses that use it to take payments, send payouts and access the API.
These terms apply to every business that opens a Sola account. They sit alongside your signed merchant agreement and pricing schedule — where they differ, the signed agreement wins.
Who we are
Sola is operated by LINKTUM GLOBAL LIMITED, a company registered in Cyprus under number HE460302, with its registered office at Archiepiskopou Kyprianou & Agiou Andreou, 1, Loukaides Building, 2nd Floor, Flat/Office 21, Limassol 3036, Cyprus.
Regulated payment services are provided by our licensed partner institutions. The partner that serves your account is named in your merchant agreement.
Who can use Sola
Sola is for businesses only. You must be a registered legal entity in a market we support, and the person accepting these terms must be authorised to bind it.
We do not open accounts for consumers or individuals acting outside a business.
Opening an account
Before you go live we verify your business (KYB): ownership, directors, what you sell and where. We may ask for more information at any time, and we can decline an application without giving a reason where the law requires it.
Sandbox access does not need verification and does not move real money.
Our services
Depending on your agreement, Sola lets you accept Pay by Bank, card and wallet payments, send payouts and refunds, and see everything in one dashboard and API.
| Service | What is included |
|---|---|
| Pay by Bank | Account-to-account pay-ins authorised in the customer’s banking app |
| Cards and wallets | Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay |
| Payouts and refunds | Transfers back to customer or beneficiary accounts |
| Dashboard and API | Reporting, reconciliation files, webhooks and sandbox |
Fees and settlement
Fees are set out in your pricing schedule and are deducted from settlements unless agreed otherwise. We give at least 30 days’ notice before changing them.
Settlement timing and currencies are set out in your merchant agreement.
What you agree not to do
You will not use Sola for anything illegal, for goods or services on our prohibited list, or on behalf of another business without our written approval.
You are responsible for the customer data you send us, for your own refund policy, and for keeping your API keys secret.
Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
You issue refunds from the dashboard or API. Card chargebacks follow the card scheme rules and may be debited from your balance with any scheme fee. Pay by Bank payments have no chargeback process — disputes are resolved directly with your customer.
Suspension and closing an account
We may pause payments or payouts if we suspect fraud, a legal breach or a risk to customers, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us. Either side can close the account on 30 days’ notice.
Liability
Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses.
Changes and governing law
We give at least 30 days’ notice of material changes to these terms.
